Applying a UV DTF sticker
Four steps by hand. Never use garment heat-press instructions on a UV DTF sticker.
Separate
Peel the sticker away from its backing sheet, keeping the clear top layer attached to the art.
Place
Line it up on a clean, dry surface. It will not shift once it touches down, so position before you press.
Press
Rub firmly from the center out with a squeegee or your thumb to push out any air.
Peel the top layer
Pull the clear carrier off slowly at a sharp angle. Wait 24 hours before washing.

UV DTF bonds to smooth, clean, hard surfaces. Contact area is everything — texture, dust, or oils weaken the hold.

Prep in one line: clean the surface, remove oils, let it dry fully, and don't touch the cleaned area before applying.

UV DTF questions
Is UV DTF waterproof?
Yes — once applied and fully bonded, UV DTF is waterproof in normal use. Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
How should I wash decorated drinkware?
Hand washing is the safest way to keep decorated drinkware looking its best. Avoid soaking the decorated area during the first 24 hours.
Can I reposition the sticker after it touches the surface?
Repositioning is difficult once the adhesive makes strong contact. Align carefully before pressing anything down — that's why Place comes before Press.
There are bubbles under my sticker. Can I fix them?
Small bubbles can usually be worked out to the nearest edge with a squeegee right after application. Prevent them by rubbing from the center outward during the Press step.
My cup is tapered. Will a straight design fit?
A rectangular design laid out for a straight cylinder may not align perfectly on a tapered cup. Measure the usable smooth area and size the design for the narrowest point.
Can I use UV DTF on a t-shirt?
No. Fabric needs apparel DTF transfers, applied with a heat press. UV DTF is strictly a hard-surface product.
